Thankfully, we had an uneventful drive yesterday as we left CO heading to NM.
We’re both ready to get down to a lower elevation. It’s amazing how winded you get just going outside & doing the simplestthings, like walking to the truck 🤷🏻♀️.
As we drove through NM, we watched the elevation signs go from 7,000 ft down to 6,000. Much better than the 8-10,000 we’ve been in.
Here’s some pics of the ride :
Goodbye, CO
I love signs ☺️
That’s not the chip in the windshield, he really is “flying over that mountain”!
Welcome to NM
Love the art
Did you know there’s a Cuba, NM?
Lunch break
I love Google ☺️
This is an “Osprey” we saw while driving through Albuquerque.
We safely landed at Hidden Valley Mountain RV. It’s a $25 Passport America park. Not bad for 1 night, clean but gravelly dirt all around. The girls sure miss their grassy yard.
The Big Texan RV Park is connected with the restaurant, home of the 72oz steak. (Eat the whole thing in an hour and it’s free). We won’t be trying to do that, but we are going to dinner there and give Mr Charley a night off.
One day closer to our babies. ☺️
Have a good one everybody, we’re sure trying to.
