Absolutely nothing, yesterday 🤷🏻♀️
Mr Charley got his haircut, and of course, they didn’t do it like he likes. Last time we traveled, he made the mistake of going to a Barber Shop, so this time, he went to a “stylist”. It doesn’t matter where you go, you’re taking a chance on a stranger coming at your head with a pair of scissors and a razor 🤦🏻♀️
That my friends, is why I have been letting mine grow out for the last few years. The last time I had mine professionally cut, my grandson’s hair was longer than mine! (And He was on the wrestling and swim teams!). I was so happy when I could finally pull it back into a ponytail and clip it up, I swore I wouldn’t ever cut it again. It’s thin and it was falling out, but pre-natal vitamins (Thank You, Jordan for recommending) and Biotin have really helped. It’s growing again and no longer falling out by the handfuls. I also bought some Elvive shampoo & conditioner. It helps. I’m sure a lot of it has to do with my stress levels and life changes, too.
We don’t do “selfies”, and Mr C doesn’t want his pic taken, so you won’t be seeing it. And, since he always wears a Clemson hat or visor, you wouldn’t see it anyway.
We’re still debating the differences between “muggy, hot” Southern weather vs “dry, hot” Western weather. All I can say is temps at 115 outside here make my eyes feel like they’re “melting”, so I stay in as much as possible. (It might be desert grass allergies, but I doubt it). Even little Cheyenne pants when she’s outside too long. These are Southern babies that spend the day outside (preferably) chasing squirrels! So we sit around inside or take a drive, but in either case, it’s always in air conditioned comfort.
God Bless those who came before. We’re tracking Hurricane Dorian and praying for family and friends in the path. Stay safe, be smart. Today’s hurricanes aren’t like the ones we grew up with.
Since I have to post at least one pic, hereya go :
(Thank You, Froggy Donna ☺️)
Have a good one everybody, we’re sure trying to.
