The drive here was OK. We left MT, drove through ID and crossed into WA. Would you believe I saw an Eagle sitting up in a tree and further up the road there was a herd of Elk laying in the grass by the river & I didn’t get a picture of either! Sometimes by the time my brain figures out what it is, we’ve already passed it. That’s some of those precious “Thank You, Lord” treasures along the way we are so blessed to see.
We stopped at a rest area and had a picnic lunch. And, further up the road there was a sign that told us for the next 14 mikes, signs will be posted in the fence letting you know what crop was growing. I thought that was pretty cool. We saw “sweet corn”, “potatoes”, “Timothy” (grass for feed) and a few others.
Here’s some other pics from the drive
Didn’t see any “game”, guess they don’t read the signs here either! (LOL)
Had to Google this one
Didn’t see any wildlife
I think this is Mt Rainier in the distance ahead.
Had a special treat when we landed, my baby girl’s, baby girl called! Rhythm thanked me for the postcard I sent. (So sweet). My babies babies are getting so big & nothing is sweeter than getting a call from a grandchild.
Today we’ll venture out, run some errands & explore Ellensburg.
(Prayers for LA & Gulf Coast for the storm coming in.)
Have a good one everybody, we’re sure trying to.
