07/31/2019 Day 52 head to Lincoln City OR

This morning, I really miss my chiropractor!  Ever since I stepped wrong (back in MO), I’ve gotten my whole body out of whack and although the stretches, hot showers & Ibuprofen make it tolerable, nothing fixes me like that lady! So, Dr Markland, if you’re reading this, please know I miss you bunches! You have a gift like no other!

Today we’re heading down the coast to Lincoln City, OR. Plan to see Crater Lake, Depoe Bay and who knows what in the area. We’ll be staying at Wapiti RV Park for a week, and a couple of other places near the Portland area for Mr Charley’s eye shot.

Yesterday was a run errands, hang around kind of day getting ready to head out early this morning. We did drive around town some and went by a lavender farm. I just wanted to see a field of lavender and get a pic. So, Mr C was nice enough to drive me there.

That’s one thing about this place, lavender is blooming EVERYWHERE!  I love it!

It’s been an interesting stay in WA. Whidbey Island, MT Rainier NP, Olympic NP, Cape Flattery, Neah Bay and lots of lavender. And of course, Seattle, but I won’t dwell on that. I haven’t seen any whales (yet), but I’m hoping our time in OR will check that off my list.

Today will be a long drive since we’re backtracking on Hwy 101 for over 100 miles to get back on I5. Hwy 101 is the “scenic” route, which is fine for a drive, but a bit trickier pulling the rig. All I can say is God Bless Truckdrivers!

Have a good one everybody, we’re sure trying to.
