The day started out beautiful
We packed a picnic lunch, loaded the girls and headed to Olympic National Park.
Got to the Visitor Center and the folks were so friendly! Mr C chatted with the guy while I looked around the shop & exhibits.
Yes, I got my shirt!
I really liked this : “If all the beasts were gone, man would die from loneliness of spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected”.

I never heard of Chief Seattle, but he was a wise man.
We took the road leading to Crescent Lake, what a drive that was! There is no shortage of trees in WA!
Look at this lake! It goes on for miles!
Since the NP is so big, we decided to drive to Neah Bay & then over to Cape Flattery. THE northwesternmost point (like total opposite end of Key West!)
Check out these pics from the drive winding along the Coast.
Description
The Salish Sea is the intricate network of coastal waterways that includes the southwestern portion of the Canadian province of British Columbia and the northwestern portion of the U.S. state of Washington. Its major bodies of water are the Strait of Georgia, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and Puget Sound. WikipediaOur lunch stop :
It was a long drive, but at least we weren’t pulling the rig!
Today we’ll do the town, run some errands & get ready to head to OR in the morning.
Life is good and we are blessed.
Have a good one everybody, we’re sure trying to.
