🇺🇸🇺🇸 😥 🇺🇸🇺🇸
We remember because it has changed our lives forever. We now have metal detectors and searches; not only at airports, but school and ball games and state fairs and concerts and any place crowds gather.
Thousands of people lost their lives that day, millions were affected.
Innocent people going through their normal morning routines; work, school, rush hour traffic, morning commutes, etc.
Then......
By the time we heard about the Towers, we all watched in horror as the plane hit Tower Two.
Then, The Pentagon
And, then the foiled attempt with Flight 93.
We watched in horror and fear
Yet, those who serve ran in, not away.
Those that could, helped those in need.
You remember those ghastly pictures of the dusty and bloodied. I don’t have to show them, because they are imprinted in our memories.
Then, we remembered we were the UNITED STATES!
Through all the chaos we rallied
We prayed, even our politicians stood together, unified :
We watched and listened as every one ofthose in leadership positions fulfilled theirduty. Transportation, communications, military and every leader of every duty performed their task.
It was beautiful and inspiring to watch our country come together, united as one
So today, we mourn and we watch
And we remember
But I pray, we remember what it was like on 9/12
I pray once again we become the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
God Bless those who mourn today and may God Bless America.
Have a good one everybody, we’re sure trying to.
