Yeah, I never heard of it either, but it gets us closer to Tacoma. We had a heck of a time finding campgrounds for this leg of our trip. It’ll get better now that the 4th has passed (I hope)
Yesterday we took a little drive around St Regis. There’s a road called “Mullen Gulch” that did a winding loop up around the mountains, through the Lolo National Forest and back around along the river. It wasn’t a long drive, but it was pretty.
This was the long dirt road beside the river. It was pretty rough in some places
There’s s golf course not far from the campground! Who knew?!?!
We drove back to the camper & dropped the girls off so we could go downtown to look through the shops. It’s a cute little town, with more welcoming flags than shops.
And a place on the corner selling fresh WA State cherries & huckleberries; so I got some. When I stepped out of the truck, I didn’t realize there was a “hump” in the parking spot & stepped wrong on my bad foot. (Ughh!) I have enough trouble with this foot, and I sure didn’t need to aggravate the nerve damage, but as the day went on, it got worse, so I wrapped it & put myfoot up for the rest of the day. Hopefully, it’ll be better tomorrow, sure would hate to try to find an acupuncturist here!
Have a good one everybody, we’re sure trying to.
