Yesterday morning, we unhooked & drove to Chahalis & got the new tire put on. Thank God we could find one! It was a pretty nice day, so when we got back we kicked back for the rest of the day.
My #1 granddaughter, Jordan called to tell me Josh proposed! Her ring is gorgeous and I’ve never seen her so happy. He’s a wonderful, kind hearted guy who loves her & our little Braelyn. Can’t ask for more than that. My #1 daughter, Nicole will have a blast planning that wedding, once she gets my #1 grandson, Bryson off to college.
My #2 daughter, Melanie is busy packing & getting ready to move her family to N.C. New school, new home, new job, new challenges and adventures for my babies.
I’m so proud of my girls. They are successful, intelligent strong women who can tackle any challenge with wisdom and grace. They both have good husbands who support them in every endeavor. It sure is good to know your babies are doing well.
Mr Charley’s kids are doing good, too. We talk about how blessed we are that our kids are self sufficient and able to stand on their own. This gives us the peace and ability to be able to travel knowing all is well on the home front.
Enough of that! I’ll start crying!
Mr Charley got another night off of cooking, we went to the “Rusty Tractor”.
It was pretty good.
That’s all I got until our next stop.
Oh! I did get some tickets to a Vegas show since we’ll be there in a few weeks. I’ll have to tell you that story another time.
Time for my 2nd cup of coffee.
Have a good one everybody, we’re sure trying to.
Congratulations to you. Your family is growing! God plans are awesome.
ReplyDeleteMy son and his wife left Fort Worth TX for a 2.5 month adventure heading north west hauling their camper. Their first overnight stop is New Mexico, then off to hiking Colorado. They will be hitting most military campsites since they a are retired military.
I enjoy reading your blogs. This waa once my dream after retiring. Maybe one day I'll be joining. Happy trails to you and Charlie.
