08/06/2019 Day 58 Salem OR

When we made our reservations for this campground, they said they could put us in a site for one night, then we’d have to move to a different site for the other two nights. We were so happy to find a place we didn’t care!  Since we were moving from site 94 to 87 it was just down the row, so Mr Charley took a little walk around 8 to see if maybe they were “early people”.

Well, they weren’t. He walked by around 9, still no signs of life. When he walked by at 10:30 he said the guy was outside! Finally, by 11:30 they left & we could move. I say all that because we couldn’t do anything until we moved, since we were still hooked to the truck. We have a saying that “we can be outta here in 45 minutes, 30 if we don’t drain the tanks”. Well, since we were still hooked to the truck, never even hooked up to the sewer & we’re almost ready inside, we were outta there in less than 15 minutes! We went up and around the block, got in, set up and ready to run errands by 12:30! 

I did get the rest of the laundry done (sheets & towels ,etc) while waiting to move, so my morning wasn’t wasted. 

(I know, long story for nothing, but that’s all I got 🤷🏻‍♀️) 

Beautiful weather, so by the time we got back from running around, we just hung out the rest of the day. 

Mr C grilled steaks for dinner, I finished another book (I go through an audiobook a day) and that was it. 

Today, we’ll do a little exploring, but there isn’t much around. They did have a pretty cool downtown, so we’ll see.
