Happy Birthday, Geri ! One more year and we can apply for Medicare !
Yesterday was Mr Charley’s eye shot. We found the office and as we waited we had a great conversation with a wonderful gentleman. When it was time for him to leave he offerered his phone number in case we wanted to call about any inside WA tips. Instead, I gave him one of our cards so he can follow along on our journey. So, Mr Hauffman, if you’re reading this, THANK YOU for being such a kind, friendly, gentleman! You made my day. Prayers for your wife's knee surgery today. May God Bless you both.
Mr Charley’s eye shot went very well. He said Dr Hwang was almost as good as the Dr in Tampa. Now that’s a compliment!
Next appointment is in Vegas, but I think we went there last time we were there, but I can’t remember how they were. I’m smarter now, so I’ll make a note. That’s one if the challenges when we travel, finding a good retina Dr. My thought is, if they run a good, efficient office, it’s generally a good Dr. We were lucky to get this good Dr, since the first one we called said he needed a “referral”. He has his paperwork, been doing this for over 3 years all over the country, has Medicare & TriCare and it took them nearly a week to find the fax from his Dr in SC! I told him to find another Dr, if his office is run that bad, don't let them stick a needle in your eye! Luckily, we found Dr Hwang. Thank You, Lord !
As soon as it gets lighter, we’ll be leaving for Phoenix, OR. It’s down near the OR/CA line. The goal is Crater Lake, another National Park to check off. I love that SR PASS!
A couple of days there, then on to CA.
And....here’s the sunrise as we head up the road
Thank You, Lord for another day ☺️
Have a good one everybody, we’re sure trying to.
