Last night we had dinner & a show at The Cody Cattle Co. The food is great! Brisket, chicken, baked beans, slaw, potatoes, salad, apple sauce, cornbread and brownies. They made some changes to the place since last time we came, all for the better. The entertainment is great! The Triple C Cowboys are awesome. If you get a chance, Google Ryan Martin, he’s lead in the group and he is fantastic! His resume is pretty impressive, too.
Here’s a few pics
They played old cowboy music (Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, etc) and through in some Led Zeppelin. Watching them play reminded me of watching my Dad play. He could play “flight of the bumblebee” on banjo, mandolin & violin. He was insulted if you called his violin a “Fiddle”, but watching those fingers move on any instrument is as breathtaking to me as anything. The talent is mesmerizing & I am awestruck atthe gift given to musicians.
We’re going to take a scenic drive on Chief Joseph Highway & possibly Beartooth Highway, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, here’s a few more pics from the show.
The kids loved these light up hats
God Bless America!
Have a good one everybody, we’re sure trying to.
