It’s wooded, so Mr Charley’s satellite isn’tworking, but the site is large, quiet, safe and the girls are happy.
It was a short trip, less than 200 miles, but an Adventure through various mountain ranges, especially the the Snoqualmie Pass through the Cascade Mountains.
All I can say is any “tree hugger” our there who thinks there is a shortage of trees isn’t looking in the right place. There are hundreds of millions of trees just in this range alone!
All that GREEN IS TREES! After driving through all the grass ranges in MT & WY, seeing all these trees is quite a difference!
Then we passed a sign for The Flaming Geyser State Park & I had to find out whythey named it that.
Check this out:
We got through I5 traffic in Tacoma & found our way into the famcamp on Base. This is the view from our site (looking up)
We got settled in, had a little lunch, got a little rest and took a ride around the base Coming back in to the camp we saw a Doe & her fawn.
MT Rainier National Park isn’t far, so I foresee a nice day trip coming soon. We’ll be here a week, so I’m sure Mr Charley will check out the golf course here, too.
Life is good & we are blessed.
Have a good one everybody, we’re sure trying to.
