Yesterday’s ride was pretty nice. We didn’t have far to drive (thankfully), but some of these highways winding through tribal Indian reservations are pretty remote when you’re used to interstates. Surprisingly, the main wildlife we have to watch for is horses, although most signs show open range for cows.
Thank goodness Mr C saw these 2 crossing !
These were on the other side
And on we go
This is the area we’re in, the Four Corners, where UT, AZ, CO & NM meet
We drove Hwy 160 through the Navajo Nation into CO to the Ute Mountain Tribe area. We headed up, past Cortez to Durango.
The scenery has changed from dry, red rock UT, to a greener CO.
See how green everything looks!
Some of the trees are already changing into fall colors !
It’s a bad pic through the windshield, but that’s a yurt way up on the top!
And we made it to the campground. It’s pretty nice & the girls are happy since they have a nice, green grass yard!
And, the dog park is as big as a pasture!
Well, there is horses on the other side, somany it was 🤷🏻♀️
It’s a nice view, though. And, Mr Charley’s satellite works so he could watch Clemson play. (52-10 win over Charlotte)
And, I’m happy because I have 5 bars LTE on my cell phone!
Thank God for the furnace this morning! Brrrrrrrr!
Life is good, though. Thank You, Lord ☺️
Have a good one everybody, we’re sure trying to.
