The weather yesterday was pretty nice, sunny, clear, slight breeze, mid 90’s, hoping today will be more of the same.
We took the girls for a little walk around before it got too late and hot for them.

We took a ride around the base and found the commissary, got some salad and stuff, so Mr Charley could grill me a nice steak dinner. An early birthday present since he has an appointment with the Ford place on Tuesday. We’re hoping they can fix the tailgate, so we can leave here earlier than expected. Pray they have whatever part they need 🙏🙏
We made reservations for Wed & Thurs night in Reno. It gets us closer to Vegas and closer to Tahoe and Yosemite NP.
(And, outta here sooner than planned!)
We’ll be in Vegas for a couple of weeks for Mr Charley’s eyeshot. Since we don’t gamble we have tickets for a few shows. I’ll save those details for later.
In the meantime, we’ll hang here, enjoy the (hopefully) nice weather and this beautiful country. We’re blessed to be able to do this, I think it’s been healing for us both.
