Yesterday, Mr C got his oil & filters changed. We ran some errands & generally “hung out” since the weather is so wacky here. (No offense, but maybe that explains a lot 🤷🏻♀️)
Wake up it’s cold, rainy, cloudy then the sun shows itself, but it’s not East Coast beautiful orange/red sunrise (or sunsets) it’s more “white light” shining through the clouds. We were laughing last night that it was warmer in Alaska in July than here in WA. 🤦🏻♀️
We did get reservations made for our next stop(s) and Mr C is working on his August eye shot appointment. So, it was somewhat of a productive day. Also, got the girls new collars (Sadie broke hers). I’ll have to get a pic to post.
My #1 granddaughter called and caught me up on the SC scoop. My sweet great granddaughter was cooking eggs in the background & could only talk for a minute. Can’t believe she’s going into K5 this year. Nothing makes my day like hearing from my babies. I am so proud of my girls for doing such a great job raising my grand babies. Whether it’s moving into a new house, moving to a new state, or moving into new dorm in college, my girls handle their motherly tasks with intelligence & strength far beyond anything I could ever have imagined. Some days my heart overflows with such love & pride I can hardly stand it. I can’t believe how awesome theyturned out. Thank You, Lord I am truly blessed.
Grilled steaks for dinner & heard from my MN friend, life is good.
