It’s Monday and we’re in Amarillo, TX.
It’s our last day in Texas, we head out in the morning for OK as we start making our way “home”
I think the girls are ready, too. They haven’t been able to be outside that much since it’s so hot. These are “country girls” and they like fresh air and sunshine, wallering in the grass, and “occasionally” chasing squirrels if they get too close. Nothing is sweeter than watching Sadie, looking like a Royal queen as she sits out and surveys her domain. And of course, Cheyenne, although she’s the “Alpha”, she acts like the little spoiled Princess expecting everyone to jump when she “speaks”. She’s getting bored and whiny.
So, the laundry is done, Clemson lost their first game of the season (we even stayed up late to watch it), and we head out in the morning. So, here’s a pic of our last sunset in Tx;
