It’s Tuesday and we’re leaving Moab, UT and heading to Durango, CO!

Yesterday we took our final Moab scenic drive. We drove the Dead Horse Mesa Scenic Byway. And drove into Dead Horse State Park. (Well worth the Sr discounted rate of $15) I cut this from Google :Dead Horse Point State Park is a state park in San Juan County, Utah in the United States, featuring a dramatic overlook of the Colorado River and Canyonlands National Park. The park opened to the public in 1959 and covers 5,362 acres of high desert at an altitude of 5,900 feet.
It’s awesome!

It was a pretty impressive view! And, to think yesterday we drove over/around the La Sal mountains you see in the distance. If you look down in some of those pics, you’ll see a walking/biking path down in the canyon.
Mr C took me out for Mexican, (and a good Margarita). I got the little bit of laundry done and since it’s only about 170 miles to Durango from here, we’re hoping for a nice easy ride today.
Have a good one everybody.
