It’s Monday and we’re in Colorado Springs, CO!
Mr Charley and I decided we would go out for breakfast this morning before we run errands. We’re at IHOP, ordered our drinks (water, juice, chocolate milk) and our waitress left these for us :
Yep, 4 straws for our 2 waters, 1 apple juice and 1 chocolate milk. But……..when we went to Walmart the other day, they said the Governor here outlawed plastic bags. (SMH). So, I’m thinking “Wow! In California straws were outlawed because they’re “weapons”; but….in Colorado they freely hand them out, but….you can’t use plastic bags anymore”. Two thoughts come to mind : 1. I Cor 14:33 - “God is not the Author of confusion”. 2. Jeff Foxworthy quote: “If plastic water bottles are okay, but plastic bags are banned, — you might live in a nation (state) that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots”
Sorry if you don’t like my thoughts (my blog!) My Mama (and that Catholic Elementary education) taught me how to think!
We finished our errands, got back and chilled out for the rest of the day. I think Mr C is grilling those T-bones we won at the “meat raffle” in MN. Life is good. We are Blessed.
