It’s Tuesday and we’re in Cody, WY! And….. some of our babies are here!

Yesterday we drove to Yellowstone! It’s a long drive there (about 90 miles), it’s a long drive through (it’s 2.2 MILLION acres across 2 states) AND…. speed limit is 45 MPH throughout the park. Then the long drive back. We left at 6:45am and got back around 5:00 pm. No doubt we were all tired when got back. This was our sunrise this morning:
Here’s a few pics along the way:

Here’s some buffalo we saw along the way
I didn’t take a lot of pics today because I had my phone plugged into CarPlay for my Gypsy Guide app. If you’re ever going to Yellowstone I suggest you download this app! It’s like having you’re own private tour guide in your pocket. It works off GPS and not only tells you what’s ahead, but the history and highlights to everything you’ll see. It’s totally worth the few bucks it cost. Today, we drove the Upper Loop from Fishing Bridge (coming from Cody); to Mammoth Hot Springs. Even went out to Gardiner, MT so we could come back in through Theodore Roosevelt Arch. We circled back around and stopped at the General Store so the kids can buy some “trinkets”. Mr C even bought himself a new sweatshirt! I’ll wait until we go back and see Old Faithful and buy my “trinkets” there. It was a long drive, but I think our babies enjoyed it. Pizza for dinner and chill time after.
We’ll go back tomorrow and give everyone a day to recoup from the drive.
Today, the kids are going horseback riding and then the Cody Museum. We plan to eat dinner at the “Irma” hotel in downtown Cody to give Mr C a break, and let the kids see the “cheesy” gunfight in the street.

Have a good one everybody.
