It’s Sunday and we’re in MINNESOTA!This is a pic of one of the many “ice castle” campers here! They use these in the winter for ice fishing and the summer for camping. Isn’t that cool?!?!? Did I mention the floor panel comes up, has pre-drilled holes in the floor, so you can drill holes in the ice?!??? I might have to Google one of these things to see how it works.
We’re having such a great time with Clonia and Dan. They’ve been so gracious and hospitable including us in all their activities. Their friends are so nice and friendly, too. Yesterday we hung out playing corn hole & went to a MN fish fry! We had Walleye! It’s a great tasting “white meat” fish and all the “fixins” (but no hush puppies). Mr Charley has another new “toy” on his mind. It’s called a “Frying Saucer”. Amazon has one! It’s a cool “fish fryer” that our host used to cook all the fish. It takes about a quart of oil and folds up to store into a nice bag.
I think I might need to add “ice fishing” to my bucket list! (I just have no idea how I would dare come to MN in the winter?)
Remember Mr Charleys new “GoPro”? Well, Dan’s techno wizardry figured it was the SD card, so he gave Mr C another one (64 gb instead of 512) and sure enough, it worked! So, of course the new 512 he ordered came in, but, thankfully it works too!! (Still don’t understand since the original one still works in his dash cam)
And to top off another great day in MN, look at this beautiful sunset!!!!
