It’s Friday and we’re in Durango, CO!
Yesterday started out cloudy/rainy, so I thought we’d just stay in; but…,the Lord had a better plan!
The sun came out and Mr Charley said “Ms Margaret, you wanna go for a ride?” And ride we did ! We rode the Million Dollar Highway to Ouray and beyond!!!!! Last time we were here the Aspen trees were yellow and gorgeous, but it was still a nice ride. Here’s some pics:
We’ve never been past Ouray and noticed that The Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park was only about 35 miles further, so went! Another NP under our belt, and it’s FREE with our SR Pass! Here’s some pics:
It’s not one of the best NP’s, but we can say we’ve been there!! Needless to say, that extra 35 miles was an additional 70 miles roundtrip, which made it for a really LONG day! It started getting cloudy on the way back and I prayed the Lord would hold off of the rain until we got back over, around and through those mountains! 
And He did! We got back safe and sound, and then the rain started!
