It’s Saturday and we’re in Christmas, MICHIGAN! (One of our last 3 states, second stop in our MI leg)
Yesterday we drove from St Ignace (pronounced “IGNAS”) to Christmas, which is right outside of Munising. We left the Lake Huron/Lake Michigan area to the Lake Superior area.

It was a pretty nice and easy ride. We rode US-2 all the way ‘til we cut over to M-28. I have to admit the roads were a lot smoother than you would think. Here’s some pics from our drive:

Our campground is pretty good, but I thought we had lake view. Actually the lake is back there, but there’s a lot of trees around the perimeter, so we can’t see it. But that’s ok, we’re only here for 3 nights. Debbie got here yesterday, so she greeted us with a nice salad for lunch. I had some “pickle pizza” left over so we all had a piece of that with it. She had reservations to go kayaking, so Mr Charley drove her over. When it was time to pick her up, “the girls” & I rode with him and we took a “scenic tour” of downtown. It’s a cutesy little town. Here’s some pics:

Today we’re taking a boat tour around Pictured Rocks! Can’t wait to see it! It’s gonna be “nippy” so we’ll be sure to dress warm. Talked to both of my girls yesterday and got “caught up” on the family. I love talking with my babies.
I saw this when I was outside with Sadie. I love it when someone leaves a little “surcie” for you to find.
And….I’ll leave you with this:
Have a good one everybody.
