It’s Friday and we’re heading to MICHIGAN! Number 1 of my last 3 states!
It’s going to be another “long” drive, but we can handle it. We’re early risers, leaving by 6:00 a m since we never know what the traffic will be like. The weirdest thing up here is I-80/90 is a TOLL ROAD! Interstates are NOT supposed to be a toll road! Turnpikes, Expressways, maybe but NOT Interstates! I forgot to get my SunPass out of my car, so we actually have to STOP and pay. I’ll have Jed give it to Morgan to bring when she flies in for Yellowstone.
We spent yesterday taking care of a few things to get ready to leave. Went out for dinner so Mr C didn’t have to cook and just chilled out. The weather started out rainy, but ended sunny/partly cloudy and tolerable.
Praying for a safe trip, for the smoke to be tolerable as we head North, and the storms stay away. We’ll be in St Ignace, MI for 6 nights meeting up with Debbie Collins tomorrow. She going to cook for Mr Charley! God Bless her! Saw this and had to post it! Mr Charley has no tolerance for idiots who don’t read the signs.
