It’s Monday and we’re heading to Allouez, MI. I never heard of it either, but it’s near Houghton and Isle Royale National Park. I’m not sure if we’re going to take the long ferry ride out to it or not, but…..who knows.
We had a little “burp” last night while “pre-preparing” to leave. Mr Charley thought he turned off the water after he flushed the black tank, and when I went in to put some cleaner in the commode, it overflowed all over the floor! I grabbed all the towels and got it wiped up. Thankful it was “clean water” (since he has already drained and back flushed before) AND thankful the black tank “cleaner” I use has Pine Sol in it. So, it smells nice and clean in here. LOL! Got all those towels over to the laundry, (2 washers, only 1 dryer). Of course the dryer was in use when my washer finished, so got them back home, laid them out on the table overnight. Mr C took them over to the dryer this morning. “It’s an adventure”
It’s not a long ride to our next place, we’ll take our time and enjoy the ride (the best we can). It’s a light rainy kinda morning. Haven’t seen a really nice sunrise or sunset (too many trees around each place we’ve stayed), but Mr C went outside night before last and caught this sunset for me:

This was taken at 9:00 pm! I read somewhere in this area there’s a chance of seeing the “northern lights” around 3:00 am! No, I’m not setting a clock, but when I wake in the middle of the night, I’ll try to remember to peek out the window.
Here’s a sign outside the burger joint in town. I had to Google what “holy wah” means. (SMH)
Have a good one everybody, we’re sure trying to.
