It’s Monday and it’s our last day in MINNESOTA!
Mr Charley has a 9:00 eye shot scheduled in St Cloud, MN this morning, it’s about 76 miles from here, so we’re leaving early. The girls aren’t going to be too happy getting woke up that early, but they’ll be able to nap while we’re gone.
Yesterday morning we drove to Pine City (about 15 miles up the road) to find a WalMart. I can’t find my “finger pulse oxygen” thingy and I wanted to check Mr C’s oxygen level. Ever since he had Covid he’s had bad shortness of breath. Yes, he still smokes, but this is different. His oxygen level is still above 90, (93/95/96), so he just comes inside to the a/c and sits for awhile.
I saw this saw at the McDonalds here! They hire as young as 14!!! Starting at $10.50 an hour!
We went over to the casino a little bit yesterday just to see what it looked like. It’s nice and clean and sensory overload with all the machines and lights. (No we didn’t play anything, wouldn’t know how to). But Dan played blackjack the night before and was pretty lucky, he said. That’s about it for now, time to get ready to go.
