It’s Friday! Day 1 of our 2023 summer road trip! I usually “name” our trips. The first trip back in 2015, was “The Great Adventure”. We headed west, were gone for 6 months and visited 27 states. I logged most of that on Facebook. Mr Charley said he never heard anyone say “WOW!” as much as I did. It was a great trip!
I was hooked on “glamping” and bought my own RV. Mr Charley and I took it on “The Maiden Voyage” back in 2016, to the northeast, (VT, ME, etc). It was a Class C, and Mr Charley had never driven a “motor home” with a tow car (neither had I ) , but….we did it! It was an adventure!

In 2017, we took the plunge and drove to Alaska for “The Grand Adventure”. What an awesome trip! Over 16,000 miles round trip and memories of a lifetime!
In 2019, we took “The Greater Adventure” to the Pacific Northwest. Now that trip was exciting and sadly an eye opener to the homeless population in WA and OR. But the sights watching the ships from Whidbey Island, WA (highest point) to the wild donkeys in Death Valley (lowest point) are memories of the beautiful country we are blessed to live in and free to enjoy.
So, today we start “The Greatest Adventure (last 3 of 50”. Not that it’s THE greatest, but if all goes well that will be all 50 states for both of us. (We’ve both been to HI). Not many people can say they’ve been to all 50 states; and over 40 National Parks. We’re blessed….I’m Blessed.
So, join us on this adventure and we’ll see what we can see.
