It’s Monday! Our last day in KY!

Yesterday was a beautiful day, for a while. I got some laundry done and got back right before it started raining. It rained on and off most of the day, so we just chilled out. It cleared up later, and I was trying to talk myself into fishing (it’s a great pond!) I don’t know if you can see the “fins” in this picture, but I think there’s some big Carp in there! I’d love to catch a Bass, but honestly with all the Geese and Ducks that hang out here, the poop is ridiculous. So I watch everyone else fish. I haven’t seen anyone catch a “sizable” fish yet, but I love to watch the kids try.
As the day wore on, the clouds came and the storms rolled in! Thank God we had everything put up outside! The thunder boomed so loud even Sadie got scared! I got on the floor the with both of them to calm them (but I was praying the Lord would keep us safe).

He kept us safe through the night, no damage and no loss of power. God Bless those hit in the tornado areas. Since we’re in KY, and since I didn’t get my bourbon tour, we’ll hit the liquor store and stock up before we head to IN tomorrow. And, give Mr C a night off from cooking.
Have a good one everybody.
