It’s Monday and we’re in Moab, UT! 
(That’s definitely not a pic of Mr Charley and I, but you get the meaning. LOL! I thought I’d give Mr Charley a break from driving yesterday and then, that “gift” of his kicked in! He said “Ms Margaret let’s go for a ride”. LOL!So we did. He Googled “scenic drives near us” and sure enough, we were on the road!
We drove 2 different routes, but they sure were awesome! First one was UT 279, Potash Road. This road curves around the Colorado River up to the old uranium mine in Potash. The road was only about 14 miles, but oh the sights! The coolest thing was the PETROGLYPHS!! Here’s some pics:

I hope you can enlarge them and see the fish, elk, deer and hunter! Our other ride was on the other side of the Colorado River on UT 128 to the La Sal Loop. This rides all the way around the La Sal mountains! We took it last time we were here and even found the Movie & Cowboy Museum we went to before. We didn’t go in this time since we had the girls. I don’t think I can post that many pics, but I’ll put a few out. I try to upload most of my pics to a Facebook album, too.
Can you see where we passed and how far up and away we went?! It was a good ride. We even had a couple of “free range” cows come out of nowhere! Thanks again, Mr Charley for another great ride! We’re supposed to go to Dead Horse State Park today, so we’ll see what awesome sights there are!
