On to Cheyenne WY
Terry Bison Ranch RV Park Cheyenne WY
The ride to Cheyenne was long, nice and thankfully, uneventful.
The further away we got the clearer the skies and air. God Bless those poor folks in Montana especially the Firefighters and National Guard working through them.
Since we had a long ride, we left early. The beautiful sunrise was encouraging for the adventure ahead.

I love when we stop and get to read the history of the land that we are looking at.

Wyoming is amazing to me because you drive for miles and miles down the long highway there is no telling what you’ll see. Wildlife, rolling hills, flat land, farmland and then the hidden treasures like the art pieces on the top of a hill, an eagles nest on top of a pole, or a hawk sitting on a fence post. And then the things you see in the clouds , it reminds me of elementary school when we’d go outside and lay down under the trees and see what we could see in the clouds. Some of the mountains and rock formations have “faces” and shapes that just make you say “Wow, thank you, Lord”.
I wish there was a “Milepost” book for every road we travel on in the lower 48, there’s so much out there that I would love to know about.
I’ll leave you with these tidbits:

Looks like the “Marlboro Man”

See the “eyes” in the side of this mountain

What do you see in this cloud?

What do you see in this cloud?

We were following the Lewis & Clark Trail in Montana, but I forgot to mention the Trails across Wyoming signs I kept seeing. These signs show we are riding along The Oregon Trail, The Mormon Pioneer Trail, The California Trail and the Pony Express Route…..pretty cool, huh.

And the reminders to Buckle Up

We made it to Terry Bison Ranch Campground (it’s right on the Colorado/Wyoming border). You’ll have to Google the history of this place, but it’s pretty cool; over 27,000 acres. Since we were only here for the night, we didn’t do the whole thing, but I would love to bring my grandkids here to see it. Needless to say they do have “bison”, but they also have camels among other things; and some really cool rides the kids would like.

OK, that’s it….too many pics to try to sift through.
Have a good one everybody, we’re sure trying to.
RV Riding is even seeing Camels in Wyoming!
