We left Helena Friday, 8/18 heading towards Rocker (about 2 miles outside of Butte). It was a real smoky smelling morning, I don't know how those firefighters keep going in it. One thing we have noticed in Montana is the fact that you may start the day sunny, cool & calm, but by afternoon the wind picks up so fast and hard you have to be sure everything is put up or it'll blow away! I can't imagine trying to fight a fire in these winds, God Bless them all.
The ride here was nice, but smoky; here's some pics:
We'll be here a few days until we make our way to Bozeman for Mr. Charley's eye shot.
Have a good one everybody, we're sure trying to.
RV Riding is checking out and checking in whenever you want
