I try real hard to respect people’s privacy. I only post pictures of others with their permission. And, since I have “the gift of forgetfulness”, I hold confidences to my heart. With all that said, I have to admit I’m really enjoying time with my babies.
Spending time in NC with my #2 baby girl allowed me special time to see my #2 granddaughter, Rhythm.
She’s not only a beautiful 14 yr. old, she’s a talented, well grounded young lady. She’s artistic, musical, a fashion designer and a writer. And, she bakes! This Covid chaos hasn't got her down. She’s pretty happy to hang out at home. I never once heard her complain about being bored or whine about not being able to go out. She’s content. In all this mess, how many people can say being locked in for a couple of months with a 14 yr old has been good?
Now you know why I’m so proud of them.
I’m back in SC for a while, visiting with my #1 baby girl & her family. Since they’re working outside their homes, my time with them is staggered.
This is my #1 granddaughter, Jordan and my 1 and only grandson, Bryson
Not only are they beautiful (& handsome) they are smart, strong and talented. Although they’ve both had challenges through this Covid chaos, they have a grounded, loving family unit that can and will overcome anything together.
This Covid mess has brought some challenges to all of us, watching how my babies, babies step up and handle them has made me more proud than any “Meema” can imagine.
And, last but not least is my sweet little great granddaughter, Braelyn.
Her mama has done a great job keeping her safe and healthy through this mess. I haven’t been able to give her a big hug yet, but I’ve talked with her on her “Face Messenger” and watched her energy as she runs through her house & shown me all her things. She’ll be 6 this weekend and smart doesn’t crack the surface of this sweet little gem.
And, Lord willing, I will have a new grandson-in-law, Josh. Their wedding is scheduled in October, so hopefully things will be open and the celebration can go on.
Words can’t describe what a kind hearted gentleman this guy is to my girls. A hard working, talented guy who loves my granddaughter and is good to my great granddaughter. A “Meema” couldn’t ask for more.
It’s a tough world out there, but my babies are tougher! Each one, with their unique talents and challenges have and will get through this, because my girls; my Mama’s grandchildren, have deep, strong roots grounded in family love.
And Nothing is stronger than that.
Stay calm, stay safe, wash your hands and pray for our World.
