May 10,2020 COVID-19- It’s not gone, but it is going away

Thank You, Lord the worse is (hopefully) over. There are still “hotspots”, some businesses are still closed (but some are opening) some people are still in danger (but most are not). There is good and bad around us, but the good is trying to bring about good. 
It’s MOTHERS DAY SUNDAY!
       


I’m currently in SC with my #1daughter and her family. I’ll be heading to NC early afternoon to be with my #2 daughter and her family. I’m blessed to be able to call two of the best women I know “my girls”. To both of my girls (and grands) 


My mama’s been gone a long time (since 1993), but I sure do miss her. I know she’s smiling down at my awesome little “family” & as proud of her grands, great grands & great-great grand as I am ☺️
           

Mother’s Day Sunday, 1985 the Lord woke me from a disturbed sleep, helped me see my wicked ways & saved me from myself. I know without a doubt He saved me and changed me, which is one reason why my babies have turned out so awesome. Unfortunately for me, I allowed “the world” to take my joy and crush my faith. 😥 But....He’s still on the throne! And He’s still working on me! 


In the midst of all this Covid-19 chaos, He’s calling to His children words of Love, Encouragement, Wisdom andStrength. Reminding us of what is important and what is not. But, most of all He’s reminding us this is not our final home. 


The World has been trying to warn us with the crazy weather patterns and the complacency and divisiveness of the people around us. We have seen so much good come out of this pandemic chaos, and again, so much bad is creeping in. 


I am stronger now and a little wiser. I will continue to look for the good, continue to pray for my babies, and continue to try to do what I can when I can. But most important, I will continue to try to hear Him call to me and  remind me to keep up the good fight. 


Stay calm, stay safe, wash your hands and pray for our World.
