April 14,2020 COVID-19- Tornadoes!

 Tornadoes ripped through AL, GA, MS, TN & the Carolinas. Dozens have died, hundreds of homes destroyed.  

I believe the Lord is waking us up! 

 

  On a “positive” note, it looks like the stay at home, self distancing mandates are working and the new cases of Covid-19 are decreasing.    

  People are beginning to get their stimulus checks. 

  The PPP small business stimulus has processed thousands of applications helping many businesses to “stay afloat”.  

  Unemployment systems, bank systems, health care systems and antiquated processors are getting ramped up.    

  Millions of face masks and other “PPE” are being manufactured and distributed. 

  And now, the battle over who has the “power” to decide when and how to reopen states and businesses. 

  The media keeps stirring it up & twisting words to discredit our President. 

Instead of uniting us, they’re still dividing us. 

POSITIVE THINGS HAPPENING: 

  In WILMINGTON N.C. -- A 7-year-old boy decided he would run for six hours in his backyard to raise money for hospitals, food banks, and missions in his community. 

Around 37,000 steps later, Steven Burgess raised more than $1,500.
  Communities are showing appreciation to health care workers and first responders. Posting yard & window signs and organizing “drive bys”. 

  And GOOGLE is showing their support to ALL aspects of “essential workers”  with a different GOOGLE DOODLE everyday honoring all the public health workers and to researchers in the scientific community, Doctors, nurses, and medical workers, Emergency services workers, Custodial and sanitation workers, Farmworkers and farmers, Grocery workers and Public transportation workers.
