April 27,2020 COVID-19-It’s Monday! The first “Saturday” of the week

It’s a bit chilly this morning, but it’s going to be sunny and warm today. I’m thankful for that. I’ve always said a good day in fresh air & sunshine will heal about anything I got. Not that I have anything to heal! Thankfully, I’m blessed with good health. 🙏🙏

Scientists are studying the effects of sunshine killing virus spools that may land on surfaces. This just backs up my logic. ☺️

Everyone’s getting antsy & ready to go somewhere. Since I’ve been “full timing” in the RV world, I totally understand the feeling. It’s pretty hard to stay in one place for too long. Since everything’s been closed down & the economy is so “iffy”, Mr Charley & I have cancelled our travel plans for this year. Hopefully, next year we’ll be able to hit my last 3 states. (MI, MN & ND). I’m praying our World will be “normal” enough to do that. This whole “pandemic” thing has really changed everything

    Like I said, I’m praying. 🙏🙏
If you look at all the numbers, the number of recoveries still higher than the number of deaths.

Our leaders have worked round the clock to get this mess under control. The rest of the world hasn’t been as fortunate as our country. So, we pray and trust things will be OK.
Ms Claire, one of my sweet little ladies here just turned 90. The RVers that are left did a little “golf cart drive by” with balloons & cards for her. She was so excited. She reminds me of my Mama 😥❤️. She’s a strong willed little spitfire who loves to go pick blueberries. So, she came by yesterday morning to see if I wanted to go. I certainly didn’t want her to go alone (even though she would in a heartbeat). We had a great time, just chit chatting about our kids and growing up years. We both have plenty of blueberries (since we've gone 3 or 4 other times), but it’s something to do. I’ve given at least a dozen or more quart bags away, so there’s no telling how many she’s given away.
I did make a skillet blueberry cobbler. It’s a little drier than I like it to be, but I’m sure some vanilla ice cream will cure that ☺️

My Pokeno buddies get a good laugh when we get together. Everyone’s so bored, we laugh at how excited we get that it’s “Pokeno Day” & we can get out & play for a coupleof hours. 😂😂
It’s time, though. It’s time to open up our country and time for us to see our babies.

A lot of folks here are getting ready. Most will be gone by the first. We plan on leaving the 8th. 🙏🙏

Until then, I’m going to stay positive. I might even see about donating my blood. It just seems like a goodthing to do.

Stay calm, stay safe, wash your hands and pray for our World
