Checking it off

The Milepost 2017 came in, so we took the map to Staples to get laminated. This will allow us to mark our route along the way & be sure it holds up for the months on the road. I also ordered the Free Canadian National Park Pass, so we can take advantage of the beautiful Canadian parks on the way. I'm especially excited to go to Banff! It looks like it will be as awesome as Yellowstone! So, I ordered the National Geographic Guide to Canadian National  Parks to get some info and of course, the pictures in Nat Geo are fantastic!

We already bought our "waterproof" rain jackets (awesome after Christmas mark down sale), but I got some Frogg Toggs anyway. I'm hoping our LL Bean boots we bought on our New England trip will hold up, especially since Mr Charley rubbed them down with mink oil.

Mr Charley has been taking care of truck/camper needs. (New tires, mud flaps, etc).  Also, took a trip to Wally World & bought some head nets, hand warmers, another Thermacell replacement pack, mosquito repellent & a few other things. It amazes me with as cold as it gets in Alaska, everything we read says the mosquitoes are terrible. (Can't imagine anything worse than SC in July, but I bought the head nets anyway!)

RV riding is a new way of looking at everyday life, everyday!
