06/02/ 2023 Myrtle Beach SC Check out time

It’s Friday! Time to go “home” and make final plans for our trip.  Last nights “full moon” and clear sky was a nice ending to a nice day. 


I got the laundry done, rig cleaned up (sort of) and spent some time on the beach! It was more crowded this time, but we had plenty of room to sit out for awhile. I must be getting old, the beach just doesn’t do it for me anymore. I still love the sun, but give me a pool or lake and I’ll be happy. 
We got back from the beach just in time before it rained (again). I finished another book. I’m on an M C BEATON, “Agatha Raisin” murder mystery kick. Whatever audiobook they have, I download it. Thank God my baby girl talked me into getting a library card years ago. I’d be broke now with all the books I was buying on my Kindle. But I digress. 
We’re heading home today and I know the girls will be happy to wander around “leash free”. I failed to mention Tina Turner passed away last week. That was one tough lady! Her music was fantastic but her life story was amazing. 


Well, that’s all I got.

06/01/ 2023 Myrtle Beach SC Lakewood Campground

It’s Thursday, and it’s actually pretty nice outside. Since we’re leaving tomorrow, I’m going to hit the laundromat this morning. If it stays nice we might even hit the beach for a while. 

I just realized it’s June 1. A couple more weeks and we hit the road for our “summer road trip”! 

I can’t wait! 

Time to gather up the laundry, cleanup the rig and hit the beach. Tonight, we’ll head to Calabash for some seafood. Two weeks at the beach and three nice days of sunshine, we better enjoy it! 

Thank You, Lord for our strength and health. Keep our babies safe and give us a good rest of the day.

05/31/ 2023 Myrtle Beach SC Lakewood Campground

It’s Wednesday! Not quite sure how the day is going to be. Weather shows cloudy high 78. 

Here’s the view out one window. But…eventually it cleared up (for a little while) and Mr C realized it was warmer in the sun, so……him and the girls kicked back. 

Yes, he has his jacket on. LOL!  Of course, that didn’t stop the brave souls from donning swimsuits and heading to the beach (or pool). 

Check this out! They have a golf cart enclosure AND an umbrella covering their fur baby’s head! 

We had a good laugh over that one!  I love to people watch. 

We’ve been here 2 weeks and have had 2 1/2 warm sunny days. We leave Friday, so tomorrow will be laundry, clean up day.
